Features of education
The CTE School implements several educational programs that allow to fully meet the needs of each student. We see our task not only in providing students with vast educational opportunities, but also in making the learning experience comfortable and creating happy memories that will make our graduates reminisce about their school days.
Optimized curriculum
Education at the CTE School is specially designed so that students comfortably follow a number of courses, prepare for specialized intellectual competitions and fully embrace their potential. To achieve this, compulsory subjects (Russian, Maths, Literature and English) are included in the curriculum as double lessons (90 minutes), which enable better concentration on the topics.

Later on, in higher grades (9-11), the focus is shifted towards students’ profile subjects, while the workload for the other subjects is reduced. This allows students to dedicate more time to the courses they are going to take exams in as well as participate in corresponding intellectual competitions. The curriculum for such subjects includes additional courses beyond the standard program, which allows students to explore their chosen profile from different perspectives and gain in-depth knowledge of the topics.
Motivated teachers for motivated learners
Our teachers are young and energetic educators who are graduates of the top universities in Russia. Currently, they are coaches for Moscow School Olympiad teams and experts in preparing students for The Unified State Exams. They have years of relevant experience working with children and have achieved excellent results with their students in intellectual competitions and exams.
Extra support from tutors
Tutors at the CTE School take care of students while not directly teaching any subjects. Instead, they are there for students throughout their educational journey in order to provide support and address any questions or concerns that arise along the way. Tutors are responsible for managing individual educational programs, working individually with students, helping them search for information or resources, and developing and organizing extracurricular activities both within and outside of school. Their role is to provide guidance and assistance to students beyond the regular classroom setting.
Taking care of your mental health
School life is not always easy: adolescence, significant achievements, failures, and the process of defining one's own opinions and values can be challenging to navigate. During these moments, proper and appropriate support is crucial. Handling the difficulties that arise during the educational journey, promoting students' mental well-being, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere are aided by the therapists at the CTE School. Students have the opportunity to attend therapy sessions at the school free of charge. Additionally, when necessary, class tutors invite therapists to hold various activities.
Interesting extracurricular activities
At the CTE School we not only strive to make learning comfortable for our students, help them achieve academic success, and fulfill their potential, but also to provide them with opportunities for comprehensive development, self-expression, and enjoyable leisure time. To achieve this, various activities are organized during each quarter, both on and off-campus, online and offline. These activities are open to students of all study formats.
Supporting students’ initiatives
We always support the initiatives of our students as it helps them to feel the importance of their ideas and realize their full potential. Among the most significant school initiatives are the student council, the media center Number One, and the volunteer center VoluMe.

The student council at the CTE School consists of the most active, driven and passionate students. One student is elected from each class to represent their interests. Any student from the school, regardless of their profile, can also join the student council if they have the desire to implement projects for the benefit of the school. The goal of these students is to work together to make our school even better!

The volunteer center VoluMe is responsible for organizing events within the school and actively participates in larger-scale volunteering events organized by prominent volunteer organizations in Moscow. The VoluMe focuses on eight areas: social, patriotic, event-related, media, environmental, zoological, medical, and cyber.

As for our Number One media center, students are welcome to share school news, cover its events, conduct interviews with teachers and administration, and create various entertaining videos.
